Steve’s Story

Steve had been in his accounting position for almost seven years when the company was bought out and his position was eliminated. He wasn’t expecting this change and was having a difficult time accepting it and starting to look for a new position. He knew he needed professional career help and he chose Career Summit because a friend recommended us. He met with Kim, one of our career coaches, and they began by working through the transition phase to prepare him for his job search. Steve quickly regained his confidence and became enthusiastic about his future opportunities. Together they created a new resume and discussed networking options that Steve had in his field. Within a short time Steve had two interviews lined up and a third one pending.
