Thank you for visiting the Career Summit web site.  Protecting your privacy is very important to us and this Privacy Policy explains the collection and use of your information.  As with all sites, you have consented to these practices when using the Career Summit website.  We may occasionally update our Privacy Policy to reflect company and customer feedback; any changes will be immediately posted for public review.

The Information We Collect

In order to gather important background and career information, we may ask that you complete an online application including information such as name and email address.  This application requests certain demographic information (such as age) which is optional.  For payment of services and products, we request credit card and billing information through the PayPal processing system.

How We Use The Information

We use your information to provide the answers you have requested or to share your background information with the appropriate career professional and staff.  We may use your information to contact you about service offerings and specials that we think are of interest to you.  At any time you may unsubscribe from our email list (See the Unsubscribe paragraph below for details).  Your credit card information will be used strictly for purposes of processing your payment for services and products.  Be assured that we will never sell, rent or lease your information to a third party.

The Use of Cookies

Cookies were designed to help a website recognize your browser as a previous visitor and therefore to remember any preferences that were set.  Cookies do not include any personally identifiable information.  We use cookies on our site for purposes of improving your experience and to identify viewing patterns which can help us to improve our site.

Security of Your Information

We take precautions with all information entrusted to us, whether online or offline.  In our offices, only employees who need the information to perform their jobs or to assist clients have access to personal information.  If you process your payment online with a credit card, the PayPal site that is used is secure.

Surveys and Contests

Occasionally we may request information through surveys or contests.  Participation is completely voluntary and you choose whether or not to disclose this information.  Information requested will be used to notify the winners and/or share survey results.
